Its typically a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a little Petit Verdot, grown on fine gravel soils that give classic Left Bank structure and finesse.In the glass, Malescot Saint-Exupry shows a deep garnet to ruby colour with an expressive and aromatic bouquet of dark berries (blackberry, cassis), red fruit, floral notes, cedar, spice and subtle oak complexity. On the palate it is medium-to-full bodied, with silky, refined tannins, balanced acidity, concentrated fruit and a long, harmonious finish combining richness with Margauxs hallmark elegance.
