Domaine Carneros by Taittinger Rose Cuvee de la Pompadour

Cuve De La Pompadour, a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, is aged 18 months in-bottle sur lie and has a 0.9% dosage. It bursts with zesty pink grapefruit and vibrant, fresh crunchy cherries. Notes of vanilla pastry cream, honey, and perfectly balanced toasted brioche and flint create a delightful finish. I adore this wine. When Domaine Carneros pioneering winemaker Eileen Crane retired in 2020, I feared change, but this remains as fabulous as everconsistent, familiar, and truly la vie en rose.
