When combined with 2 parts Sake Kasu and 1 part water/sake, it can be used as a face mask, wherein toner and the rest of your daily routine can be applied after. Its the main active ingredient in the products of many premium skincare brands, including SK-II.

It is also present in many pastry and culinary recipes, and is ubiquitous in Japan as a staple ingredient in many fermentation recipes.

Our sake kasu is premium, having still retained a significant amount of sake, and resembles more of a paste than a hard solid.
