Origins & Craftsmanship

Crafted in Kirkwall on the remote Orkney Islands, Highland Park is renowned for using locally cut peat from Hobbister Moorrich with heather roots that lend a uniquely floral and aromatic smoke. The Heather edition of the Cask Strength Series is matured in a selection of European and American oak casks seasoned with sherry, chosen for their intensity and complexity. Bottled at natural cask strength with no chill filtration, it offers the whisky in its purest, most authentic form.

Tasting Profile

Nose: Deeply aromaticcharred oak, toasted vanilla, honeycomb and caramelized sugar mingle with heather smoke and faint floral spice.
Palate: Full-bodied and boldlayers of heather honey, golden syrup, roasted nuts and brandied fruit unfold over smoldering peat. Hints of cocoa, macadamia and dried citrus zest weave through the mid-palate.
Finish: Exceptionally long and warmingsmoke, oak and sweet spice taper into a lingering echo of heather bloom and sea-salt minerality.
