ORGANIC

A vibrant purple in colour. Bright red fruit notes of cranberry and raspberry with hints of pepper and spices. On the palate, dry and concentrated with lovely vanilla notes from the oak. Smooth tannins leading to a mellow finish. Light and elegant.
Philippe farms his 25 hectares organically and has recently constructed a winery at the top of the Haut de Coteau above the vineyards. As the name suggests, this particular red comes from old vines - average age 70 years - and is aged in a combination of oak and chestnut barrels for 12 months.
