Plumpjack Napa Valley Chardonnay Reserve 750ml 2018

The nose here shows clean pine and citrus notes, with accents of herb and tropical fruit. Straightforward apple, pear and nut flavors show on the palate. In some ways, including the nutty finish, the wine is goodin other ways, it's just there.

PlumpJack Winery is located in Oakville, in California's Napa Valley. Like many producers in the region, it is famous for its Cabernet Sauvignon wines made in the foothills of the Vaca Mountains.

The estate covers 42 acres (17 ha), encompassing well-drained hillside sites and rich clays on the valley floor. The diversity of terroir here is reflected in the Cabernet Sauvignon wines that PlumpJack has within its collection.
