Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Rye is a highly allocated, 123.2 Proof (61.6% ABV) limited-edition straight rye released in June 2024. This technical expression marks the inaugural launch of a series dedicated to "radical transparency," documenting every stage of production from seed to bottle. Distilled in 2017, the spirit utilizes a high-rye mash bill of 63% rye, 24% corn, and 13% malted barley. The centerpiece of this release is the Becks 6158 corn varietal, a non-GMO hybrid grown locally at Peterson Farms in Loretto, KY, specifically for its distillation properties.

Produced at the Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown, the whiskey was aged for six years in Cox's Creek rickhouse W3 (floors 3, 4, and 5). By doubling the rye content of the traditional Rittenhouse or Pikesville recipes, the blenders achieved a chemical profile defined by intense spice and grain-forward esters. The technical presentation features a 700ml bottle containing non-chill filtered liquid, highlighting notes of fresh rye bread, white peppercorn, and burnt caramel, balanced by a long, dry oak finish.
